Expungement Clinic

Hosted by:
Justice & Accountability Center of Louisiana

About this event

This free Expungement Clinic gives eligible participants the chance to have their criminal records cleared with the help of volunteer attorneys. Attorneys will review eligibility, assist with expungement paperwork, and recall misdemeanor attachments for the 24th Judicial District Court and the 2nd Parish Court — and if eligible, the clinic will cover filing and background check costs.

The clinic is sponsored by Councilman Byron Lee, Councilman Deano Bonano, Councilwoman Dee Dunn, the Justice & Accountability Center of Louisiana, Southeast Louisiana Legal Services, and the Jefferson Bar Association.
