Join us for a free Louisiana Driver's License Reinstatement Clinic on Saturday, April 11, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles in New Orleans. This clinic is designed to help underserved residents clear outstanding traffic violations and reinstate their licenses — at no cost.

The clinic covers outstanding violations in Jefferson, Kenner, and Orleans parishes, made possible through partnerships with judges from First and Second Parish Court of Jefferson Parish, Kenner Mayor's Court, and Municipal & Traffic Court of New Orleans.

Registration is required. Spots are limited and walk-in availability is not guaranteed. Register in advance to secure your time slot. The last appointment will be at 2:00 p.m.

What to Bring

  • Any ID or driver's license (state DL or Real ID), even if expired
  • Birth certificate (original or certified copy) or valid passport
  • Two (2) bills with your address (lease, mortgage, utility bill, etc.)
  • Evidence of payment of tickets, fines, etc.

At this clinic, staff will work with you to resolve outstanding traffic violations and help reinstate your Louisiana driver's license — all in one visit, at no charge.

To make the most of your appointment, bring all required documents with you. Incomplete documentation may delay or limit the help you can receive.
