SAFE

SAFE is a nonprofit organization that provides 24-hour crisis intervention, advocacy, and support services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence in Southeast Louisiana. In addition to forensic medical care, SAFE offers a wide range of services, including safety planning, counseling, emergency shelter, transitional housing, legal advocacy, and court accompaniment to help survivors and their children find safety, healing, and stability.

Services & Eligibility

SAFE Louisiana serves individuals of any age or gender who have experienced sexual assault and need a forensic medical exam. Services are available regardless of income or immigration status and are provided at no cost to the survivor.
