The Ella Project is a New Orleans–based nonprofit that provides pro bono legal services to low- to moderate-income artists, musicians, and inventors across Louisiana. With a focus on creative and cultural work, the organization offers legal help with copyright, trademark, contract negotiation, licensing, business and nonprofit formation, and patent assistance.
Services & Eligibility
The Ella Project serves low- to moderate-income artists, musicians, cultural organizations, and inventors in Louisiana. Eligibility is based on income level and the nature of the creative or inventive work. Clients must be unable to afford private legal services.
