Catholic Charities Immigration & Refugee Services provides free or low-cost assistance to obtain family-based immigrant visas, adjustment of status to legal permanent residency, naturalization (citizenship) applications and preparation classes, VAWA petitions, U-visa applications, asylum, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, Temporary Protected Status (TPS), Deferred Action applications, fiancée petitions, consular processing, travel documents/advance parole, renewals, work permit renewals, affidavits of support, etc.Catholic Charities is NOT accepting new cases at this time. Attorney and Community referral lists are available upon request. To get a referral, apply with Catholic Charities online.

They primarily serve immigrants and their families in the Greater New Orleans area, offering legal help that is free or low-cost. Services are by appointment, and as of now they are not accepting new cases; referral lists are available on request.
