Disability Rights Louisiana

About
Disability Rights Louisiana is a nonprofit organization that protects and advocates for the rights of people with disabilities across the state. With offices in New Orleans and Lafayette, they offer free legal help, information, and support to make sure people with disabilities can live, learn, work, and participate fully in their communities.
Services & Eligibility
Disability Rights Louisiana helps people of all ages with disabilities who live in Louisiana. You may be eligible if you have a physical, mental, developmental, or intellectual disability. Services are free, but they can’t take every case. They focus on issues that affect safety, rights, independence, and access to services. Priority is given to people whose legal problems relate to abuse, neglect, discrimination, education, housing, healthcare, or access to community supports.
