The 17th Judicial District Court Self-Help Center is a free resource designed to assist individuals in Lafourche Parish who are representing themselves in civil court. The center provides access to legal forms, procedural help, and information to help users better understand the court process without needing an attorney. The center does not provide legal advice.It operates in-person at the courthouse on the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of each month, from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

The 17th JDC Self-Help Center is available to anyone with a civil legal issue in Lafourche Parish. It is especially intended for self-represented litigants who cannot afford legal representation and need help with issues like divorce, custody, and small claims.
